However, here are some responsibilities and qualifications that we expect to remain relatively constant for this position. Essential Responsibilities: Assemble and disassemble electrical transmission systems and instrumentation. Consulting on the design of units, components and testing. Set up and use test equipment such as digital multimeters, HIPOT machines and power supplies. Perform component assembly checks and complete related documentation. Contribute to the improvement of workshop standards, protocols and processes. Basic Qualifications Ability to use mechanical and power hand tools Extensive experience building and troubleshooting electromechanical systems such as motors, batteries, sensors, electronics, controls, pneumatics, etc. Experience interpreting technical drawings, work instructions, electrical diagrams, and product data sheets . Ability to stand 6-10 hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds.
