Experienced Seamstress Needed (Preferably Russian Speaking) A Brooklyn based clothing brand is seeking a Seamstress/Sample Maker for a studio project. This is a freelance, project based position (not a full-time position). Must be based in our Industry City studio (near 36th Street Station, D, N, or R lines). Flexible schedule, depends on the specific project. Salary: Discussed individually depending on experience and scope of work. Requirements: Must be authorized to work in the US Must provide a valid W-9 (for tax reporting) Work is performed under a contract as an independent contractor (1099) - this is not a full-time position Work will be primarily studio based, with the opportunity to take individual projects home once a working relationship has been established.
