Global Shared Living Group Inc. is a New York-based company, which provides full-service Coliving services to anyone looking to move to a new city and meet new people. Coliving is a shared housing model. Our Residents share kitchens, living rooms, and other common spaces with all members, and have a private or shared bedroom of their choice. Everything is included in the flat fee: utilities, wifi, furniture, appliances, kitchen supplies, and anything else needed upon moving into a new place. We are looking for ambitious, self-motivated business-oriented people, who will become the next generation of employees, who are turning the real estate market in the USA and around the world into a customer-focused industry. The role is extremely varied, and you have to have good technician skills to be able to resolve different small tasks, such as plumbing, electrical, furniture assembling, HVAC, WiFi, locks, etc. You must be comfortable interacting with our residents regularly with respect and deliver excellent service. The role includes communication with other management companies and technical services in order to get issues resolved other than our ability. Responsibilities: Manage and oversee all maintenance aspects of a portfolio of properties Complete all resident and site work orders of apartment maintenance as directed Schedule and oversee third-party trade partners, ensuring the safety, quality, and cleanliness of work performed Maintenance duties of our properties may include but are not limited to: Light plumbing work (clogged toilet or bathtub, small leak, etc.) Furniture assembly (plus minor repairs) Painting (touch-up) Interior maintenance Light electrical work Appliance evaluation and repair Other aesthetic work as needed Help suggest improvements Conduct regular inspections of houses to ensure proper operation Requirements: 1+ year of maintenance experience Flexibility with work schedule - this is not a typical 9-5 job. There will be times when on-call status may be required. You must be available to provide and maintain a flexible schedule. Ability to work with some basic tools, as well as specialist power tools. Having your tools is desirable Ability to represent yourself in a professional manner with Residents and team members Ability to work independently and utilize technology to communicate with the team A car will be an additional plus and will be compensated on top of the salary. Terms of employment: 2-month fully paid probationary period; Work hours - 40 hours per week, according to the weekly schedule; The candidate should be able to work out of the regular business hours if there is an emergency situation; A total of 2 paid vacation weeks is provided per year. 1 week for every 6 months of work. Compensation is $38,400 per year + overtime or additional tasks above the regular responsibilities.
