Operates and pilots a diesel-powered tugboat vessel; directs the movement and placement of a 35-ton crane barge; delivers materials and personnel to work sites. Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the vessel. Must have a license as a master of towing vessel with; a license as a US Coast Guard master of towing vessel; or be a mariner licensed as a master of inspected, self-propelled vessels greater than 200 gross registered tons (GRT); and 2 years of experience as a deckhand, mate, or pilot on a towing vessel.
