RB Brilliance is a family run diamond importer and fine jewelry manufacturing company. We specialize in wholesale manufacturing. The role of the Production Assistant is extremely important to our day to day activities. This position will support the buyer and production manager. For this role, you will learn all the necessary processes in the first few weeks of work, in order to facilitate in receiving/sending packages, and the overall production of fine jewelry pieces. The ideal candidate has the ability to multi-task and stay organized in a very fast-paced environment. This is a full-time role located in NYC Diamond District. Office Hours are 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and Winter Fridays until 1PM. Heath insurance, Federal Holidays and paid time off included. We look for: - Fast learner with strong problem solving skills - Ability to read and write - Clear communication skills - Proficient in data entry and Microsoft Office - Able to adapt as the business and responsibilities evolve - Highly organized and proactive - Extremely detail oriented - Capacity to work in a fast paced environment - Knowledge of Russian language preferred - Previous fine jewelry experience is plus - Graduate Gemologist or Diamond Graduate is a plus Responsibilities include: - Processing production Work Orders, memos, repairs and returns - Processing new customers and vendors - Processing all purchases - Processing payments - Invoicing and accounting preparation - Organizing and maintaining paper and electronic documents - Inventory management - Assisting in email and phone communication - Assisting with gold traceability preparation - Rarely making runs between vendors and jewelers for pick up and drop off - With learning and experience this role will include a fine jewelry quality control component. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
