Drives a variety of motor vehicles in order to transport people, material and equipment. Moves and carries cargo onto and off operated vehicles. Routine maintenance of vehicle operated (changes oil, tires, spark plugs, and checks fluids and fills when needed, etc.). Bus driving Operate and maintain motorized equipment in support of maintenance, grounds, or other areas. Shoveling, snow plowing, grass cutting and ground work. Must possess a New York State driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle to be operated and CDL Class B license with Air Brake Endorsement and Passenger Endorsement. Must have 1+ year of permanent service in a title eligible for 70.1 transfer pursuant to Civil Service Law or be currently serving in the title of Motor Vehicle Operator. $33631 to $41555 per year.
